The original turbo intake pipe between the air filter and turbo inlet has a internal diameter of 56mm in the tightest section. The stock pipe also has a resonator section before the turbo inlet. These are factors that restrict the air flow to the turbo. Our turbo intake pipe is 76mm (3 inch), outer diameter, all the way to eliminate all restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>do88 turbo inlet pipe has an air flow at 0.15bar\/2.18psi pressure drop 655CFM, compared to the OEM pipe that has 594CFM. The turbo inlet pipe is manufactured in 3\u201d mandrel bent seamless aluminium pipe. Custom made high quality silicone hoses with 4 layers of polyester reinforcement and steel wire. These hoses can handle very high temperature and vacuum!<\/p>\n<p>Always remember that the OEM turbo inlet pipe and hoses was designed for the power level the car was built for originally. A power increase, or even very hard use of the car in a standard version, may cause that the OEM pipe and hoses don\u2019t have the performance you need.
