This stock engine oil have a tube and fin core which is a bit sensitive construction and therefore it can be damaged by road debris. So with this type of core installed in this position it is not very unusual to get a sudden oil leak caused by a small stone or other debris hitting the stock oil cooler and this can be fatal for the engine.<\/p>\n<p>With our performance oil cooler, we like to offer a much more durable design and of course at the same improve the performance!<\/p>\n<p>To get an exact 3D-model of the available space to design our oil cooler in we did a detailed 3D-scan of the mounting area of the oil cooler. With the help of this 3D-scan model we could design a new performance oil cooler with bar and plate core that improves both cooling and strength.
