Due to its significantly larger diaphragm surface compared with the original actuator, the WGA provides greater control over the wastegate flap. Exhaust back pressure therefore has less influence on the flap position, ensuring more stable and reliable boost pressure control.<\/p>\n<p>Three springs and a special preload adjustment with an adjustable connecting rod are included. The base boost pressure can be adjusted from 5 to 24 psi, allowing the actuator to be configured for the best possible boost pressure control.<\/p>\n<p>The WGA has a longer stroke, lower construction height and more adjustment options than comparable products.<\/p>\n<p>The WGA with code 7301 is designed for direct installation on EVO 4\u20138 models with the factory turbocharger. The 10 psi and 7 psi springs are already installed, providing a base pressure of 17 psi. A 5 psi spring is also included for additional adjustment options.<\/p>\n<p>Although this is a direct physical fit, the product should be treated as an engine tuning device because it will increase boost pressure.
