Compared with conventional regulators with a metal-on-metal valve and seat, it provides more reliable sealing and fuel pressure retention after engine shut-off, helping to ensure more reliable starting.<\/p>\n<p>The dual-layer diaphragm provides a tensile strength of over 500 psi. Multiple inlet and gauge ports also allow configurations with a parallel fuel line or a returnless (<em>deadhead<\/em>) system.
