It is designed for users who want improved performance without additional noise.<\/p>\n<p>Using GFB TMS technology, T9354 can help the engine reach peak boost pressure up to 30% faster than the factory diverter valve when changing gear.<\/p>\n<p>The factory BPV has several important design and operating weaknesses.<\/p>\n<p>Tuned engines running high boost pressure generate a great deal of heat in the charge air. As the BPV is mounted directly on the compressor, it is exposed to the hottest part of the intake air and to heat from the compressor housing. This can cause the factory diaphragm to rupture. If the damage goes unnoticed for some time, the turbocharger may be damaged because the ECU increases turbocharger speed in response to the loss of boost pressure.<\/p>\n<p>The operation of the factory BPV is not optimised for throttle response. Due to its soft spring and the solenoid valve built into the vacuum hose, it can operate in only two positions \u2013 fully open or fully closed.<\/p>\n<p>The factory BPV cannot open and close progressively according to the current boost pressure. Throttle response is therefore poorer when the valve vents more air than necessary, for example during partial throttle lift-off. T9354 solves these issues with durable metal and silicone valve components, so the DV+ is designed for long-term use even in demanding conditions.<\/p>\n<p>For improved performance, the DV+ has carefully selected spring stiffness and adjustable spring preload, enabling progressive operation and sharper throttle response.
