They work by using the factory diverter valve and redirecting air into the atmosphere. The shortcomings of the factory valve design therefore remain, while its flow capacity is also significantly reduced by the small openings in these spacers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ECU control compared with vacuum control<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some BOV kits completely eliminate ECU control and use only vacuum from the intake manifold. This method is not inherently problematic, as most BOV valves operate this way, but ECU control is significantly faster. It detects and responds to even small changes in throttle position, allowing the system to operate more quickly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The unique venting ratio adjustment system<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>GFB\u2019s venting ratio adjustment system uses an internal rotating sleeve that allows the opening of the recirculation and atmospheric ports to be adjusted continuously.
