The result is a pronounced blow-off sound, faster throttle response, quicker boost pressure recovery, and improved pressure retention and reliability under demanding conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The valve retains the original ECU control and factory solenoid valve, providing a fast response without the unnecessary replacement of the solenoid valve.<\/p>\n<h3>Construction and operation<\/h3>\n<p>The factory diverter valve uses a plastic valve mechanism, which is the weaker part of the system. GFB VTA replaces it with CNC-machined solid-material components and changes the valve\u2019s operating method for improved control.<\/p>\n<p>The factory diverter valve operates in only two positions \u2013 open or closed. This gives the solenoid valve a shorter travel, a faster response and greater actuation force.<\/p>\n<p>The piston opens and closes progressively according to the boost pressure present.
