They lower the centre of gravity and reduce body roll, making cornering more stable and precise.<\/p>\n<p>This is a straightforward upgrade that does not require the expense and complexity of a complete coilover system. The springs are designed for use with standard dampers, so no further suspension modifications are required.<\/p>\n<h3>Features<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lowering:<\/strong> approximately 20\u201325 mm on the front and rear axles, reducing the gap between the tyre and wheel arch.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reduced body roll:<\/strong> the vehicle remains flatter through corners, improving stability and the feeling of control.<\/li>\n<li><strong>More precise steering feel:<\/strong> the lower centre of gravity provides more direct contact with the road.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Progressive spring rate:<\/strong> the springs are more comfortable through the normal range of travel, then become firmer towards the end of the stroke for better control during fast cornering and heavy braking.<\/li>\n<li><strong>DCC compatibility:<\/strong> they work correctly with both standard dampers and Volkswagen Adaptive Chassis Control (DCC) dampers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Everyday driving comfort<\/h3>\n<p>The progressive design provides a compromise between comfort and sporty handling. During normal driving, the spring rate is similar to standard, so driving on poorer roads and motorways remains comfortable.
