Replacing the springs and dampers with a matched kit removes this compromise in the setup. The components are designed to work together, helping you avoid issues that can result from fitting sports springs to standard dampers, such as unsettled and harsher driving as well as faster damper wear.<\/p>\n<h4>Benefits of the Golf R kit<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>25 mm lowering at the front and 20 mm at the rear<\/strong> \u2013 lowers the centre of gravity and improves the vehicle\u2019s stance without excessively reducing usability on everyday roads.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sports-tuned dampers<\/strong> \u2013 reduce body roll in corners and nose dive under heavy braking.<\/li>\n<li><strong>More precise steering response<\/strong> \u2013 the vehicle responds more directly to steering inputs, which is particularly noticeable on winding roads and the track.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Comfortable everyday driving<\/strong> \u2013 the setup is firmer but not excessively hard, making the kit suitable for everyday and longer journeys as well.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Direct replacement for the original parts<\/strong> \u2013 installation uses the factory mounting points without modifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Driving feel<\/h4>\n<p>Through corners, the body is noticeably calmer and the steering feel is more connected to the road.
