The braided hoses reduce expansion under high brake pressure and thermal stress, resulting in a firmer and more consistent brake pedal feel.<\/p>\n<p>Standard rubber brake hoses can expand slightly under heavy braking, especially as the system heats up. This expansion absorbs some of the pressure created by pressing the pedal, resulting in a softer or \u201cspongy\u201d feel after several consecutive hard braking manoeuvres. Racingline braided hoses are designed to eliminate this effect.<\/p>\n<h4>Firmer pedal and better response<\/h4>\n<p>Each hose has an inner PTFE lining made from durable brake-fluid-resistant plastic, surrounded by braided stainless steel. This construction is highly resistant to expansion, so the pressure from your foot is transferred directly to the brake calipers without losses in the hose. The result is a firmer and more consistent brake pedal with better feel \u2013 under hard braking, it provides greater confidence and a clearer sense of how much grip the tyres have available.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the improved response, the outer braided sheath is more resistant to abrasion, corrosion and normal wear than standard rubber hoses. The hoses are fully compatible with DOT4 brake fluid and other high-performance brake fluids.<\/p>\n<h4>Kit contents<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>2 \u00d7 braided brake hoses for the front axle<\/li>\n<li>2 \u00d7 braided brake hoses for the rear axle<\/li>\n<li>8 \u00d7 washers for banjo connectors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The kit is designed as a direct replacement for the factory hoses. It fits in the original locations, using the existing brackets and routing.<\/p>\n<h4>Important installation notes<\/h4>\n<p><strong>The rear brake hoses in this kit are suitable only for vehicles with an electric handbrake.<\/strong> If the vehicle has a conventional handbrake with a mechanical cable, the rear hoses will not be compatible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The existing banjo bolts must be reused during installation.<\/strong> New banjo washers are included and must be used to ensure correct sealing without leaks.
