This provides a smoother, more stable and higher-flow air path from the turbocharger to the throttle body.<\/p>\n<p>The kit is particularly suitable for modified vehicles with higher boost pressure, where the original hoses can be a weak point.<\/p>\n<h4>Why replace the factory boost hoses?<\/h4>\n<p>The original boost hoses have a smaller internal diameter and a soft plastic and rubber construction. The moulded recess for routing the electrical wiring creates turbulence, flow restrictions and a potential weak point at higher boost pressure.<\/p>\n<p>The Racingline kit eliminates these restrictions. The result is a more consistent air path, improved turbocharger response and greater resistance to swelling, cracking or hose detachment on the 2.5 TFSI engine.<\/p>\n<h4>Features and construction<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>70 mm aluminium boost pipe<\/strong> \u2013 larger than the factory plastic pipe with an outside diameter of 63 mm; the routing recess has been removed for smoother airflow.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Four reinforced silicone hoses<\/strong> for connections at the intercooler inlet and outlet, turbocharger outlet and throttle body.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Stepped internal joints<\/strong> \u2013 matched transitions between the hoses and aluminium pipe reduce turbulence at the joints.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fluorosilicone inner lining<\/strong> \u2013 resistant to oil and fuel permeation and suitable for long-term use at high temperatures and pressures.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Formed intercooler outlet hose with stainless steel strip<\/strong> \u2013 allows engine movement without the hose collapsing under vacuum or boost pressure.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mikalor stainless steel hose clamps<\/strong> are included to reduce the possibility of boost leaks and hose slippage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The complete system has been pressure-tested at pressures exceeding the output of the standard turbocharger, making it suitable for the higher temperatures and boost pressures of modified engines.<\/p>\n<h4>What can you expect?<\/h4>\n<p>This is a supporting modification rather than a standalone power upgrade. On a standard vehicle, you can expect improved throttle response, a more consistent supply of boost pressure and greater long-term reliability. On modified vehicles with Stage 1, Stage 2 or higher tuning, the kit eliminates one of the more common weak points and enables the turbocharger to deliver air to the engine more efficiently.<\/p>\n<h4>Compatibility<\/h4>\n<p>The kit is intended for the five-cylinder 2.5 TFSI engine in the Audi RS3 (8V and 8Y) and Audi TTRS (8S).
