The factory hoses are designed for standard boost pressures, but on modified vehicles with higher pressures and temperatures they can stretch, deform or even collapse under load. The three-piece silicone kit solves this issue with reinforced hoses featuring smooth-flowing interiors, designed to withstand significantly greater loads.<\/p>\n
The kit replaces the three original charge hoses that carry compressed air between the turbocharger and intercooler and onwards to the engine. Replacing standard rubber with reinforced silicone creates a firmer and more consistent air path that does not inflate, soften or collapse under boost pressure.<\/p>\n
The hoses feature stepped internal transitions at the joints, matched to the connection dimensions of the surrounding components. This ensures a smoother, more laminar air path, with less turbulence than designs without stepped transitions.
