Overheating of the standard or less efficient intercooler reduces performance and can cause detonation and ignition timing pull.<\/p>\n<p>The CTS Turbo intercooler is a direct replacement for the factory part. It keeps charge air cool, helping to maintain more consistent performance. The high-flow core provides a low pressure drop and allows smooth airflow to the water radiator.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Features:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High-density bar-and-plate core with cast end tanks, supporting up to 600 whp.<\/li>\n<li>Airflow guide vanes are cast into the end tanks and help distribute air evenly across the intercooler.<\/li>\n<li>Full compatibility with adaptive cruise control (ACC) and the forward collision warning system. On some 2019+ models, the Volkswagen forward collision warning system may require adjustment after installation.<\/li>\n<li>Compatible with all MQB vehicles with 1.8T and 2.0T engines, including facelift versions.<\/li>\n<li>One of the largest direct-fit intercooler cores on the market.<\/li>\n<li>Designed using CAD for excellent performance and precise fitment.<\/li>\n<li>The high-flow core allows smooth passage of ambient air to the water radiator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Restrictions:<\/strong> this product is not suitable for Volkswagen Tiguan vehicles with an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission.
