It traps oil vapours from the PCV system and prevents them from entering the intake manifold and causing deposits to build up on the intake valves in direct-injection engines.<\/p>\n<p>Oil deposits in the intake manifold and on the valves can cause poorer performance, increased fuel consumption and damage to the sensitive flaps and their motor.<\/p>\n<h3>Kit contents<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>CTS Turbo billet aluminium CNC-machined valve cover breather element<\/li>\n<li>CTS Turbo billet aluminium oil catch can with dipstick for checking the oil level<\/li>\n<li>Black braided -10 AN hoses<\/li>\n<li>Oil catch can mounting bracket<\/li>\n<li>Modular intake manifold plug<\/li>\n<li>Hose-Wrangler clamp<\/li>\n<li>All mounting hardware and O-ring seal for the rear PCV system<\/li>\n<li>Direct fitment without modifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Important notes<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The engine mount bolt must have a threaded boss for mounting the oil catch can. If a flat bolt is fitted, the N91029602 double-sided adapter is required.<\/li>\n<li>Not suitable for vehicles with a charcoal filter.<\/li>\n<li>When fitted with a CTS Turbo engine mount, the CTS-HW-426 mounting bracket is required.<\/li>\n<li>The kit is not compatible with the Noise Pipe system. Vehicles with the Noise Pipe system require a kit to remove it.<\/li>\n<li>During the winter months, fluid in the oil catch can may freeze and damage the engine.
