Using these coils allows a larger spark plug gap, which can improve idle smoothness, fuel consumption, throttle response and combustion.<\/p>\n<p>The kit is designed to upgrade the original ignition coils on 1.8T engines, which are known to suffer from coil failures. The kit includes four CNC-machined 6061 aluminium adapters and stainless steel bolts.
