The manifold volume is approximately 40% larger, while airflow is balanced between all cylinders.<\/p>\n<p>The enlarged and redesigned plenum enables the most even possible distribution of air to all cylinders. Integrated flow directors in all runners help improve flow efficiency, turbocharger response and power when suitable engine management software is used.<\/p>\n<h3>Features<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>For EA113 engines with belt drive and EA888.1\/EA888.2 engines with chain drive.<\/li>\n<li>Approximately 40% larger volume than the original manifold.<\/li>\n<li>Improved turbocharger response and increased power when suitable engine management software is used.<\/li>\n<li>Even airflow distribution through all runners.<\/li>\n<li>Integrated flow directors in all runners.<\/li>\n<li>Retains the factory throttle body fitment, so adapters are not required.<\/li>\n<li>Retains the factory mounting provisions for additional equipment and brackets.<\/li>\n<li>Removes the factory intake manifold flaps.<\/li>\n<li>1\/8\u2033 NPT ports for water\/methanol injection \u2013 work well with Aquamist nozzles with a non-return valve, 25 mm long, whose extended tip enables installation on the MK6 TSI.<\/li>\n<li>1\/4\u2033 NPT and 1\/8\u2033 NPT ports for a vacuum signal or boost pressure reference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Important notes<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Not compatible with the factory PCV system; an oil catch can is required.<\/li>\n<li>Not compatible with B8.5 A4\/A5 vehicles with a fifth fuel injector and factory aluminium manifold \u2013 engine code CPMA\/CPMB.<\/li>\n<li>Not compatible with MK6 Gen3 TSI engines (2013.5+) \u2013 engine code CPLA\/CPPA.<\/li>\n<li>Not compatible with second-generation Audi TT vehicles with a MAP sensor on the intake manifold.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dedicated software calibration is required for this intake manifold.
