CTS Turbo RFD (Runner Flap Delete) enables the removal of the runner flaps from the factory intake manifold on FSI engines, including Golf R MK6 models.<\/p>\n
The factory intake manifold flaps can represent a significant airflow restriction on modified vehicles. The CTS RFD kit is designed to reduce these restrictions; with suitable tuning, gains of up to almost 10 whp and 10 wtq are possible, according to the manufacturer.<\/p>\n
Dedicated tuning for RFD is required.<\/strong><\/p>\n Only for 2.0T FSI engines with a timing belt (EA113).<\/strong><\/p>\n Not suitable for TSI\/TFSI (EA888.1 or EA888.2) or MQB vehicles with a Gen3 TSI engine (EA888.3).
