The unit features a full-frame K04 CHRA housed in purpose-designed compressor and turbine housings.<\/p>\n<p>The turbo is based on the turbocharger fitted as standard to the Golf R MK6 and is designed as a direct replacement for the factory Borg Warner or IHI turbocharger in Audi A4 B7, A4\/A5\/Allroad\/Q5 B8 and A4\/A5\/Allroad\/Q5 B8.5 models with the 2.0T engine.<\/p>\n<p>The compressor and exhaust housings are made specifically for the larger K04 CHRA and are therefore adapted to the larger turbine wheel. The housings are CNC-machined and manufactured to OEM+ dimensions, allowing direct replacement of the factory turbocharger without additional parts. Suitable ECU software is required to use this upgrade.<\/p>\n<p>OEM gaskets and fitting hardware are included for easier installation.<\/p>\n<h3>Features<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>CTS-spec K04 CHRA with reinforced thrust bearings<\/li>\n<li>Standard K04 compressor wheel measuring 46.38\/56.1 mm (MFS \u2013 machined from solid material)<\/li>\n<li>Compressor and turbine housings specifically developed for the K04 \u2013 not a hybrid design<\/li>\n<li>Manufactured to OEM+ dimensions<\/li>\n<li>VSR high-speed balanced turbocharger<\/li>\n<li>Direct replacement for the factory part<\/li>\n<li>OEM fitting kit included<\/li>\n<li>Compatible with any software intended for a K04 turbocharger<\/li>\n<li>With suitable supporting modifications, the turbocharger can achieve 350 HP\/340 TQ on the 2.0T engine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Important installation notes<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>A high-flow sports catalyst or test pipe is required. Use with the factory catalyst is not recommended.<\/li>\n<li>An upgraded intake system and intercooler are recommended.<\/li>\n<li>Software adapted for the K04 turbocharger is required.
