The valve is made from T6061 aluminium with a CNC-machined design and is fully serviceable. It is designed to work with the original electronics, so it does not cause the engine warning light to come on.<\/p>\n<p>The CTS Turbo N14 BOV replaces the factory plastic unit, which can suffer from diaphragm damage, cracked plastic and electrical faults. The piston design provides a long service life, easy installation and complete serviceability. The valve is slightly shorter than the standard one, so it also fits well in the N14 engine\u2019s tight engine bay.<\/p>\n<p>Installing the kit does not require removal of the factory turbocharger.
