It reduces oil vapour entering the intake manifold and thereby helps limit deposit formation on the intake valves of direct-injection engines.<\/p>\n<p>Deposits on the intake manifold and valves can cause poorer performance, increased fuel consumption and damage to sensitive intake flaps and the engine. The kit includes all the necessary mounting hardware and a sealing O-ring for the rear PCV. Installation is direct, without modifications.<\/p>\n<h3>Kit contents<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>CTS Turbo CNC-machined aluminium breather valve cover<\/li>\n<li>CTS Turbo aluminium oil catch can with oil level dipstick<\/li>\n<li>Black braided -10 AN Black-Series hoses<\/li>\n<li>Mounting bracket for the oil catch can<\/li>\n<li>Modular intake manifold plug<\/li>\n<li>Hose-Wrangler clamp<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Warning:<\/strong> during the winter months, the liquid in the oil catch can may freeze and cause engine damage.
