They are designed for use with original pistons and for conversions with a larger turbocharger and higher boost pressure, while maintaining engine reliability.<\/p>\n<h3>Rifle drilling<\/h3>\n<p>All CTS Turbo connecting rods are rifle drilled as standard.<\/p>\n<h3>Honing<\/h3>\n<p>The big and small ends of the connecting rods are honed in production using precision equipment, ensuring accurate tolerances.<\/p>\n<h3>Quality control<\/h3>\n<p>Each connecting rod is included in a strict quality control process that covers measuring all key dimensions on a CMM coordinate measuring machine.
