The connecting rods are designed for use with larger turbochargers and higher boost pressures while maintaining engine reliability.<\/p>\n<h3>Rifle drilling<\/h3>\n<p>All CTS connecting rods are rifle drilled as standard.<\/p>\n<h3>Honing<\/h3>\n<p>The big and small ends of the connecting rods are honed in-house using precision equipment, ensuring the required tolerances.<\/p>\n<h3>Quality control<\/h3>\n<p>All connecting rods undergo strict quality control, during which all critical dimensions are checked using a CMM coordinate measuring machine.
