They are engineered for applications with a larger turbocharger and high boost pressure, while maintaining reliability thanks in part to the standard rifle-drilled design.<\/p>\n<h3>Rifle drilling<\/h3>\n<p>All CTS connecting rods are forged and rifle-drilled as standard.<\/p>\n<h3>Honing<\/h3>\n<p>The big-end and small-end bores are machined and honed on precision equipment with very tight tolerances.<\/p>\n<h3>Quality control<\/h3>\n<p>All connecting rods undergo a strict quality-control process that includes measuring all key dimensions on a CMM coordinate measuring machine.
