It replaces the restrictive factory downpipe and delivers a sportier exhaust sound.<\/p>\n<p>The product is designed using modern CAD technology for a precise fit in the original downpipe position. It is made from T304 stainless steel, hand TIG-welded and back-purged with inert gas for long-term reliability.<\/p>\n<h3>Product details<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>4.5\u2033 downpipe that tapers to 3.15\u2033 or 80 mm for proper connection to the factory or sports exhaust system<\/li>\n<li>Precisely engineered and tested on the vehicle in real-world driving conditions<\/li>\n<li>Made from T304 stainless steel with protected TIG-welded joints<\/li>\n<li>Replaces the restrictive factory downpipe<\/li>\n<li>Effective upgrade for increased performance<\/li>\n<li>Distinctly sporty exhaust sound that remains subdued during relaxed driving<\/li>\n<li>No unpleasant droning when used with the factory exhaust system<\/li>\n<li>Weight: 9.07 kg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We also recommend replacing the downpipe gasket during installation. BMW factory gasket 18328612538 is required and is not included.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stage 2 software is required to prevent the engine fault light from coming on.
