It is manufactured using the latest CAD technology and replaces the factory downpipe.<\/p>\n<p>The downpipe is made from T304 stainless steel, TIG-welded by hand with the interior protected by inert gas, ensuring reliable long-term operation.<\/p>\n<h3>Product details<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>4.5\u2033 diameter downpipe that tapers to 3.15\u2033 or 80 mm for direct connection to the factory or sports exhaust system<\/li>\n<li>High-flow 200-cell catalytic converter<\/li>\n<li>Precisely designed and tested on an actual vehicle in real-world conditions<\/li>\n<li>Manufactured from T304 stainless steel, TIG-welded with the interior protected<\/li>\n<li>Effective performance upgrade without compromise<\/li>\n<li>Distinctly sporty exhaust sound that remains subdued during relaxed driving<\/li>\n<li>No unwanted droning when used with the factory exhaust system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When installing, we recommend replacing the downpipe gasket. The BMW factory gasket with part number <strong>18328612538<\/strong> is required and is not included.<\/p>\n<p>Stage 2 software is required to prevent the engine warning light from appearing.
