In combination with the original diverter valve (DV), it vents excess charge air into the atmosphere instead of returning it to the engine\u2019s intake system. This gives you the characteristic blow-off valve sound without replacing the factory DV or installing a completely separate blow-off valve.<\/p>\n<p>It can be used with or without installed software. When correctly installed, it does not cause the engine warning light (CEL) to illuminate. It works best with the original Revision D or Revision C diverter valve.<\/p>\n<p>The spacer is made from solid aluminium machined in Canada.
