It is a direct replacement requiring no modifications.<\/p>\n<p>The V8 4.0T already has a good sound from the factory, but it can still be quite subdued even with the exhaust valves open. The mid-pipe kit removes the stock resonators and provides a more pronounced sound without additional cabin drone.
