The sound is fuller, smoother and more assertive, making it an excellent match for the high-performance S58 engine.<\/p>\n<p>The kit removes the factory hydroformed resonated section and replaces it with 70 mm T304 stainless steel pipes. To reduce flow restriction, a carefully engineered X-pipe made from mandrel-bent tubing is installed in place of the standard resonator. The X-pipe stands out both in appearance and in its effect on the exhaust note.<\/p>\n<p>The advanced X-shaped design differs from the more common stamped X-pipes on the market. Exhaust gas flow is smoother, promoting balanced flow to both exhaust tip assemblies.
