Compared with exhaust systems for the MK7 GTI using 2.5- or 2.75-inch pipes, the 3-inch design allows better exhaust gas flow.<\/p>\n<p>The downpipe for the CTS Turbo MK7 GTI is fully TIG-welded and made from seamless 3\u2033-diameter T304 stainless steel. Stainless steel installation hardware and clamps are included.
