The system is also intended for tuned vehicles that require greater airflow.<\/p>\n<p>The original air intake works together with the airbox and supplies cold air to the intake system. The air then passes through a 3-inch high-flow air filter with an inverted conical element for more efficient engine breathing. The 3-inch CNC aluminium intake pipe with mandrel bends allows the smoothest possible entry of cold air into the engine and reduces turbulence caused by unnecessary joints. All CTS system components work together to provide increased power and torque throughout the rev range, as well as a more pronounced, race-inspired sound.<\/p>\n<p>The maximum power increase on an otherwise standard vehicle is 8\u201310 hp.
