Compared with the factory solution, it provides more efficient charge-air cooling, thanks to the high-density intercooler core and cast aluminium end tanks. All pipes are formed with a retaining bead at the ends, reducing the risk of the charge pipes coming off or leaking.<\/p>\n<p>The kit uses black aluminium pipes, 4-ply silicone couplers and stainless steel T-bolt clamps. The intercooler features a pressure-tested core and is designed for use with more than 450 hp at the crankshaft. The core dimensions are 25.25\u2033 \u00d7 8\u2033 \u00d7 3\u2033, while the total length between the end tanks is 35.5\u2033.<\/p>\n<h3>Features<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>High-density bar-and-plate core<\/li>\n<li>Mandrel-bent 2.5\u2033-diameter pipes with black powder coating<\/li>\n<li>4-ply silicone couplers and stainless steel T-bolt clamps<\/li>\n<li>Supports more than 450 hp<\/li>\n<li>Compatible with standard K03, K03s and K04 turbochargers, as well as the ATP Eliminator kit<\/li>\n<li>Also suitable for upgrades with a larger turbocharger; a CTS Turbo exhaust manifold is required, otherwise additional modifications may be necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On later MK4 models, when installing the MAP sensor, the factory green O-ring seal must be retained and the supplied O-seal fitted over it. The MAP sensor is not included in the kit.<\/p>\n<p>Installation on Golf\/GTI\/Jetta vehicles may require trimming the bumper and cutting the support and bumper.
