It is based on experience from previous turbocharger projects and includes new technologies to optimise performance while retaining factory fitment.<\/p>\n<p>Using analysis of transient flow and flow-bench measurements, the engineers optimised the turbine housing while retaining factory fitment, the factory mounting position and the use of the original wastegate actuators. The kit is therefore compatible with factory-fit downpipe kits, intake systems and charge pipes. A result of 808 whp was achieved on a built engine with supporting modifications. The original wastegate actuators, high-performance downpipe kits, intake system and charge pipes can be used during installation. No specially fabricated parts are required; the original mounting hardware and gaskets are used.<\/p>\n<p>The kit includes two brand-new turbochargers and enlarged turbo inlet pipes, so no exchange cores are required.<\/p>\n<p>Each turbocharger is dynamically balanced to the VSR standard, exceeding factory tolerances. It is equipped with upgraded heavy-duty bearings and thrust washers. Reinforced silicone inlet pipes compatible with all intake systems are included. They do not collapse or deform under vacuum.<\/p>\n<p>The turbochargers are designed to flow a large volume of air at lower boost pressure. This makes it possible to achieve high power without overspeeding the turbochargers, helping to ensure reliable operation.<\/p>\n<p>Optimal boost pressure is 24\u201325 psi at approximately 85\u201388% WGDC.
