The CTS Turbo hybrid turbocharger for BMW B58 Gen.1<\/strong> engines is designed for maximum performance while retaining the original turbocharger\u2019s installation dimensions and reliability. It is intended for users who want to extract more power from the B58 engine. Thanks to its increased airflow and improved efficiency, it supports over 700 whp<\/strong> with the appropriate supporting modifications.<\/p>\n

It features a forged aluminium compressor wheel (62\/82 mm)<\/strong> and a high-flow turbine wheel (62\/68 mm)<\/strong>. The turbo therefore responds faster than many other hybrid turbochargers and delivers greater efficiency at different boost pressures. The larger wheels enable greater airflow and improved exhaust gas flow, making the turbocharger suitable for higher boost pressures, ethanol blends and custom engine tuning.<\/p>\n

For easier installation, a high-flow turbo inlet hose<\/strong> is included. It connects the turbocharger to the intake system and improves airflow.<\/p>\n

Remove the factory turbocharger, transfer the wastegate actuator and reinstall it. Mounting hardware and a modified heat shield are included to simplify actuator installation.<\/p>\n

The wastegate actuator must be calibrated with an ISTA+ device for correct operation.<\/p>\n

      NOTE: When installing the turbocharger, always follow the correct wastegate actuator checking and adjustment procedure.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Installation must be carried out by a qualified technician. The turbocharger must be pre-filled and coated with oil, the engine oil and oil filter must be replaced, and the correct running-in procedure must be followed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Mounting hardware and gaskets that are identical to those on the original turbocharger, as well as the wastegate actuator, are not included.<\/strong><\/p>\n
