Upgraded turbocharger kit with ceramic ball bearings and a stainless steel turbine housing for BMW F3x platforms with the N55 EWG engine.<\/p>\n
The turbine housing has been optimised using transient flow analysis and flow-bench testing for a GTX3582R-style turbocharger. It retains the factory mounting and location while using the original electronic wastegate. It is compatible with factory-fitted downpipe systems, intake system and charge pipe.<\/p>\n
The original wastegate, upgraded downpipe, intake system and charge pipe can be used during installation.<\/p>\n
The kit is intended exclusively for versions with an electronic wastegate actuator (EWG). ECU tuning for the larger turbocharger via the ECUTEK platform is required, and fuel system upgrades are also recommended. Installation and tuning must be carried out by a professional.<\/p>\n
The wastegate must be calibrated with the ISTA+ diagnostic system before tuning. Failure to do so may cause problems with engine tuning.<\/p>\n
The turbocharger is designed to flow a large volume of air at relatively low boost pressure. Maximum boost pressure is 20 PSI.<\/p>\n
The measurements were taken on a 2015 BMW 435i Gran Coupe with an automatic transmission and are not a guarantee of the same result in every vehicle.<\/p>\n
