It was crucial to ensure that the shift cables were no more offset than with the original solution. 3D scanning allowed the shift ball stud mounting to be positioned in the same plane as on the original part. The findings were then verified with a 3D-printed prototype before the final design was produced in the company\u2019s own machine shop.<\/p>\n<p>As the short shifter is adjustable, you can easily change the shift throw length using a <strong>16 mm spanner<\/strong>.
