The Forge Motorsport blow-off valve (BOV) spacer is designed for Nissan Juke vehicles, Renault 1.2 Turbo engines and the 2016 Smart ForTwo W453 with a 0.9 l turbocharger.<\/p>\n

The spacer has been developed to create a pronounced atmospheric blow-off valve sound, which is usually less audible with the standard system. CNC-machined from a solid aluminium block, the spacer creates a distinctive and recognisable air-release sound. When lifting off the throttle, it produces a characteristic \u201cwhoosh\u201d that highlights the presence of the turbocharger.<\/p>\n

The product is designed for use with the original electronically controlled solenoid (electrical valve, part no. 144839204R) and uses high-quality O-ring seals for reliable sealing. The vehicle is factory-fitted with a turbocharger recirculation valve, which routes charge air from the high-pressure side past the turbocharger and back to the intake side. The disadvantage of this system is that it returns heated air to the turbocharger intake side, increasing temperatures. The blow-off valve spacer allows the air to vent to the atmosphere and helps eliminate this drawback. The kit contains everything required for installation.<\/p>\n
