The blanket also includes additional protection for the downpipe.<\/p>\n<p>The design is made for the most demanding conditions and has been proven to withstand up to <strong>1370 \u00b0C (2500 \u00b0F)<\/strong> of radiant heat, helping to protect and extend the service life of engine components.<\/p>\n<p>The turbo blanket retains exhaust gas heat within the hot side of the turbocharger and directs it away from the cold side and intake path.
