It is made for use in extremely demanding conditions and helps protect and extend the service life of engine components. Its design can help reduce turbo lag and lower intake air temperature.<\/p>\n<p>During the first few heat cycles, the blanket will lose some flexibility as the material hardens. Once fitted, therefore, <strong>do not remove it<\/strong>, as this may damage it. For the Subaru Impreza WRX 2.0L, the stated model years are 2002\u20132005, and for the 2.5L, 2006\u20132011; for the Forester 2.5L, the stated model years are 2004\u20132011, and for the Legacy 2.5L, 2005\u20132009.
