With its larger coverage area, the FMTUBL19 keeps residual heat away from surrounding components that need to remain cool.<\/p>\n<p>The shield is suitable for both track use and daily driving. It helps retain turbocharger heat and thereby reduce the temperature in the engine bay, which can have a positive effect on the temperature of the coolant, electrical components and air in the engine bay and consequently on intake air temperature.<\/p>\n<p>The design is intended for the most demanding conditions and has been tested for up to 1370 \u00b0C (2500 \u00b0F) radiant heat. This helps protect and extend the service life of engine components.
