As supplied by AMG, the engine has a port for a diverter valve beside the turbocharger, but this is plugged at the factory. This works without issues at the standard level of modification, but increasing boost pressure after a remap can result in poorer drivability and juddering under hard acceleration, which can shorten the turbocharger\u2019s service life.<\/p>\n<p>The valve bolts directly to the turbocharger, and the kit also includes the appropriate hardware for the vacuum line required for its operation. It is equipped with an aluminium piston for a long service life, is fully serviceable and can be rebuilt with different springs according to the level of modification or engine power.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Check compatibility before purchase:<\/strong> compatible models have a plugged port for the diverter valve on the turbocharger, while incompatible models have a diverter valve with a solenoid.
