We recommend servicing the valve every 3 years or every 20,000 miles \u2013 whichever comes first.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This recirculating valve is designed for Mercedes 2.0 Turbo GDi engines, including the CLA250, which have an electronically controlled bypass valve. It is recommended for vehicles where boost pressure has been increased with an ECU software upgrade, as well as for standard vehicles operating in a warmer climate.<\/p>\n

The valve is a solution to common failures of the original rubber diaphragm valve. When the diaphragm splits, boost pressure is lost. The failure does not always trigger the engine warning light, as the boost pressure may still open the valve, meaning that you may not notice any loss of performance.<\/p>\n

Forge Motorsport has developed a more reliable solution with a piston mechanism without a diaphragm that could fail. The valve is made entirely from aluminium and replaces the original assembly with a pressure- or vacuum-controlled piston valve. At the same time, it retains the desired original ECU-controlled valve operation.<\/p>\n

The kit includes all parts required for installation, along with complete fitting instructions.<\/p>\n
