It is recommended for vehicles with increased boost pressure due to an ECU software upgrade, as well as standard vehicles operating in warmer climates, as it eliminates issues caused by failures of the original valve.<\/p>\n<p>Failure of the original valve does not always trigger the engine warning light, as boost pressure may still open it. The driver may therefore not notice a loss of power. As a result, the diaphragm can no longer seal properly. During removal, the valve can also fall apart in certain cases, and in extreme cases plastic fragments can enter the turbocharger and cause serious damage.<\/p>\n<p>Forge Motorsport has developed a more reliable solution with a piston mechanism without a diaphragm that could fail.
