We recommend servicing the valve every 3 years or 20,000 miles \u2013 whichever comes first.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is a piston-type bypass valve that is a direct replacement<\/strong> for the original valve. Compared with the original diaphragm valves, it provides a longer service life<\/strong> and also allows different springs to be fitted when boost pressure is increased or the engine has been modified.<\/p>\n

It is important that your vehicle has the same type of valve as shown in image 1. The valve shown in image 2 is not compatible with the Forge valve. We observed this change in vehicles manufactured after 2016, so check the shape of the original valve before purchasing.<\/p>\n

To prevent the possibility of fault code P0101<\/strong> being generated, the engine control module (ECM) must be reprogrammed with a setting optimised for venting to atmosphere.<\/p>\n
