Despite its significantly larger dimensions, it is a direct replacement for the original intercooler, requiring no additional hoses or pipework modifications.

The larger frontal surface improves charge-air cooling and restores performance. Compared with the original intercooler, the unit has lower restriction without causing turbocharger response lag. On the manufacturer’s vehicle, the intercooler alone produced 10 hp and 20 ft/lbs of torque.

This upgrade is particularly suitable for vehicles fitted with a tuning box or updated engine management software.

Dimensions

Original intercooler: 720 × 215 × 30

Forge intercooler: 680 × 290 × 40

Fits engines AXB, AXD, AXE, AXC, BRR, BRS, BNZ, BPC, BLU, CAAA, CAAB, CAAC, CAAD, CAAE, CCHA and CCHB.
