Vauxhall fitted the vehicle with a brace as standard, but at only 2 mm thick, it is not rigid enough and can even be bent by hand.<\/p>\n<p>The brace is made from solid 10 mm-thick stainless steel, so it will not rust. It is installed using the bolts removed from the original brace, while installation is straightforward and does not even require removal of the lower engine cover.
