It was developed following extensive road and dyno testing with three different water cores and fin-spacing configurations.<\/p>\n<p>With modern ECU tuning, higher engine loads can cause reduced efficiency and power loss due to insufficiently cooled charge air. The upgraded Forge radiator is designed for the Volkswagen Transporter 2.0 TDI models with 180 and 204 hp.<\/p>\n<p>The radiator is made entirely from aluminium and offers greater reliability than the original radiator with its larger plastic tanks. Thanks to the optimal use of space behind the bumper, it has a 50% larger frontal area and 50% greater volume than the original radiator.<\/p>\n<p>It uses a single-pass coolant design, with the inlet and outlet on diagonally opposite sides. This design optimises coolant flow through the entire radiator core. The radiator is available with a durable black powder coating or in a raw aluminium finish for motorsport.<\/p>\n<h3>Features<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Over 50% greater capacity using a Super Tech core with 18 fpi (fins per inch) fins.<\/li>\n<li>The PolarCooler replaces the original chargecooler radiator.<\/li>\n<li>The single-pass coolant flow makes use of the entire core surface and provides efficient cooling.<\/li>\n<li>During three consecutive dyno runs, intake air temperatures were reduced by 20 \u00b0C (68 \u00b0F).<\/li>\n<li>Designed for installation in the original location.
