This intercooler is specially designed for VW T5 and T6 vehicles with a BiTDi diesel engine featuring twin turbochargers. In the T6 model, the product is compatible only with the CFCA engine.<\/p>\n
With its larger core and improved thermal efficiency, it provides better charge-air cooling. Compared with the original intercooler, this can mean more power and a longer service life for engine components, as the thermal load is reduced.<\/p>\n
On the test vehicle, the intercooler reduced intake air temperature by an additional 10 \u00b0C compared with the original intercooler. The lower restriction also resulted in a smaller pressure drop.<\/p>\n
The product is particularly suitable for vehicles with an engine upgraded with performance software or an additional tuning module. Depending on driving style, it can also help reduce fuel consumption.<\/p>\n
