It also fits the Cooper 1.5 model, as BMW uses the same OEM airbox in these variants.<\/p>\n<p>The kit includes a purpose-built aluminium heat shield that also functions as an air intake and directs cold air from the intake on the front slam panel. The mounting uses the original mounting points with rubber bushes to reduce vibration and noise.<\/p>\n<p>The pipe to the filter is hand-built and equipped with a precisely machined fitting for the MAF sensor, allowing the original MAF sensor to be easily bolted to the new intake system.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Washable and reusable filter design.<\/li>\n<li>Multi-layer foam technology with different densities.<\/li>\n<li>Developed and manufactured in Great Britain.<\/li>\n<li>Improved airflow and protection of the engine against the ingress of dirt and dust.<\/li>\n<li>Designed for long-lasting efficient operation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The air intake and rigid pipe are finished in a durable black powder coating with an OEM appearance. Forge Motorsport states a measured power increase of 10 bhp without any other modifications to the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Installation is simple, as no cutting or vehicle modifications are required. The kit can be easily removed, and installation takes approximately 20\u201330 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do not overtighten.<\/strong><br \/>When fitting the filter to the corresponding part of the clamp, do not overtighten it. Otherwise, the part may become compressed, causing problems with installation or operation.
