It is made from 6026-grade aluminium, machined and hand-polished.<\/p>\n<p>The actuator is vehicle- and turbocharger-specific. On the Ford Focus ST, compatibility with the installed turbocharger must be checked; the compatibility table also lists the Ford S-Max I with a 2.5 Petrol engine.<\/p>\n<h3>Features<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>choice of spring pressure according to the vehicle and level of modification,<\/li>\n<li>standard spring for factory or slightly higher boost pressure,<\/li>\n<li>option to install a stronger spring for modified vehicles,<\/li>\n<li>diaphragm or piston sealing,<\/li>\n<li>fluorosilicone diaphragm reinforced with Nomex material,<\/li>\n<li>laser-cut stainless steel bracket, where applicable,<\/li>\n<li>303-grade stainless steel actuator rod.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Diaphragm sealing is the standard configuration, while piston sealing offers equivalent performance and less maintenance thanks to the durable design of the piston internals.<\/p>\n<p>On modern engines with electronic control via the ECU or a solenoid valve, the mechanical spring pressure does not necessarily equal the target boost pressure. When choosing a spring, take into account the vehicle, the installed turbocharger and the planned level of modification.<\/p>\n<h3>The kit includes:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>1 \u00d7 FMACST actuator,<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00d7 Forge sticker.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The actuator is fitted as standard with the supplied spring. To use the FMPACTUN spring adjustment kit, Diaphragm Type 2, 049 must be selected.
