The actuator is purpose-built for the vehicle and turbocharger.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Choice of spring rate according to the vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Made from 6026-grade aluminium<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle-specific design<\/li>\n<li>Turbocharger-specific design<\/li>\n<li>Machined and hand-polished in the UK<\/li>\n<li>Diaphragm or piston operation is available for most actuators<\/li>\n<li>Diaphragms made from reinforced Nomex fluorosilicone<\/li>\n<li>Laser-cut stainless steel brackets where specified<\/li>\n<li>Adjustment and service kits are available<\/li>\n<li>Made in England<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Spring adjustment<\/h3>\n<p>The actuator is supplied with a standard spring as standard. The spring is selected for standard or slightly higher boost pressure. For modified vehicles and higher boost pressure, a stronger spring can be used on request.<\/p>\n<p>The actuator allows more precise adjustment and control of boost pressure, which can improve turbocharger response and operation control. Actual compatibility and the achievable adjustment depend on the engine management system and other vehicle components.<\/p>\n<p>The default version uses sealed diaphragm internal components. A version with sealed piston internal components is also available, providing equivalent operation and less maintenance thanks to the piston\u2019s more durable construction.<\/p>\n<p>The actuator is supplied with a spring for the Ford Focus ST250 as standard. For the FMPACTUN spring adjustment kit, select the <strong>Diaphragm Type 2, 049<\/strong> version.<\/p>\n<p>All actuator rods are made from 303-grade stainless steel.<\/p>\n<p>The stated spring pressures according to the colour markings apply only to the mechanical part and are directly applicable mainly to older turbo engines without control via the ECU or solenoid valve.
